Hey yall,
Well I've been working on this track for a good while now and wanted to share what I have so far. I focused on the energy and the melody in this one, so expect a steady, driving beat layed over an emotional riff - that's what I tend to go for in my tracks anyway ;) But I think this one's got something new in it, and I wanna see what you guys think. So please take a listen to the sample, and let me know your opinions.

I like the intro. Im an intro dude but I never make them because I feel like a dj wont mix it. Great intro man! Sounds great. The melody is pleasent and catchy. Work it out some more and let us hear the rest.
Good luck |

well.....that main synth to me is too....well too bright sounding...
like maybe but a unison or such on it....
kinda spread the sound out and slight detune...
it sounds to clear and piercing...
just my opinion....
otherwise....AWSOME |

wow.
Finally, been a while since i heard a catchy melody like this.
Melody could be used for some great prog i think :).
I do agree on the synth, seems to lack low. |

| Wow, the melody in this is fantastic. I agree about the brightness of the synths. Also, I think you got a tad reverb happy, its pretty muddy even for an mp3. Maybe pull back on that a bit and do what you can to bring that melody up to the front of the mix where it belongs. Great work. |

Lombardo: Thanks for the good words! One thing though, this is a sample so it's supposed to start from the breakdown of the full track. The full version will not start like that though, it will probably start out with a kick and some other small stuff.
Dave: Thanks! ;)
Antonio: Glad you like the melody. I won't be posting a 192 ver of this ... not immediately at least, first I want to see if it can catch any luck with labels.
Poochi: Agreed, I'll be tweaking the synth to be less harsh in the higher freqs.
Massive: Nice to hear your thoughts on the melody :)
State of Matter: hmm, I'll see what I can do about the reverb ... the muddy effect is probably caused the pad in the background, might have to eq it.
Luke: I'm real glad you like this as well, I'll let you know once the track is wrapped up to see if you would still like to play it.
Anyone else?

| listening.. melody comes rapidly.. cool melody.. but the synth is bright and sounds like V-Station, the bass is really cool.. do something with that screaming synth.. bass is mint.. |

nice production man!
though I must say the melody isn't 100 % my thing.
put that;s just s matter of taste. not much to comment on (besides lead eq). very nice bassline and overall drive!
Good luck with finishing this! curious to listen to the whole. |

Going pretty fine so far I think, except it's too full of high freqs (kinda hurtful to my ears at times :) ).
Other than that, I'm anxious to hear the full one ;) |
