For those who went to Spirit for AVB and have heard him overseas...

Was AVB playing a little harder than usual just because he was in NY or is that set representative of how AVB djs when it's a longer set? I mean most of the live mixes that I've heard never really go into harder tracks (not that I remember anyway).
Don't get me wrong though. I actually loved the fact that he went into this sort of music. Makes me even more excited for his next visit in New York. Just regret not going to hear in Ibiza as my friends and I thought 1 night of Trance (Cream) was good enough. |

if you're saying tech trance stuff, he did the same thing the next night in DC. as for past NY performances, no he's never played that before. |

| Yeah, it sounded more like Marco V than Armin at some points. |

Remy played a fast techy set ~ 134BPM that was really good. Armin had no choice but to follow with a fast trance set! ;) |

| true...didn't think of it in that way. While I do love his regular sets, I think I prefer hearing him play like he did in Spirit :) |

I've noticed over the last few months that Armin has been spinning more and more tech-trance. Check out ASOT 173, the long live mix.
I like the more melodic stuff when I'm home and the harder tech-trance stuff when I'm in the club. |

ditto... or rather, prefer a mix of both, as long as it flows properly :) i still think the DJs are trying to figure this one out |

| I saw him in Australia at the end of january this year....he played a lot more meledoic trance but he threw down some tech-trance as well...seems to me, he's been playing alot of harder tech-trance in general, not just @ spirt. He played a 6 hr set in AU, so, he had a bit of filler in there, and he pulled out some classic Choons as well...but it seems to me that harder tech trance seems to be his thing right now....but thats just my opinon |

| I saw him live at Gods in Birnmingham in May and he played very very trancey, not hard at all. The techiest he got during the entire night was a Roland Klinkenberg track...not too much more. |
