A simple little scratch and your movie is skipping like a school girl but VHS isn't as fragile but does the rare thing where the VSR chews up the tape which sucks ass but that kind of thing doesn't happen as often as the disk skip and/or "can not read disk thing":whip:
When I rent a movie from Blockbuster or where ever I go for the BHS if at all possible especially with older movies where it's more likely that the DVD will have some scratches which affect the movie.
If I rent a movie or buy one I at least expect to see the whole thing without missing any parts.
VHS wins for being more reliable and having more of my trust:D :tongue3 :happy2: |

2 solutions to the scratching thing...
1) take a bit more care of your discs :)
2) dvd writers are cheap as chips now, so buy a DVD-R, back it up, and whey!
DVD! |
