NYE @ Niagara Falls

| I'm thinking of going. Anyone ever been? What was it like? What's there to do? Are they having fireworks? Are the haunted houses and all those places gonna be open late? How much are hotels/motels? How about a nice one with a hot tub? Reservations ahead of time needed? |

| Niagara falls on NYE is pretty nice. Yes, there are fireworks: LINK Lot of other couples around so it's kinda romantic. You should have booked ahead if you wanted a nice room overlooking the falls but I'm sure you can still find one. You should hit the casinos too, they're bound to have some special entertainment for NYE. |

And with hotels... how much for one with a hot tub? And when is check in/out? |

| went for NYE back in 2001/2002. It's nice -- there was a huge snow storm on the way there. We actually had dinner on top of the needle which then started to shoot fireworks, which was kind of neat because it was right above and below us. Beware of all the crazy obnoxious young drunk Americans however, there were plenty. I went with about 11 other people so all in all had fun, though I would not do it again. :thepirate |
