| Ian^ what's Kirkland doing over there??? ;) He's one of the wrorst goalies in teh Premiership IMO... :p But I know, that he's young and have time to become the best, but nowdays he's not on the top form...:p |

Given has not been on his best form at the moment, he's made a few uncharacteristic mistakes, but I couldn't name a better, more consistent keeper in the Premiership over the last few years. You put any keeper behind the Newcastle defence and watch how many he concedes. It's amazing to think Given had the most clean sheets of any goalkeeper two seasons ago!
This season I'd say Cech has been the best even if he does have the best defence in front of him. |
