Well first off let me just say that the whole letting females in before 12 idea seemed to work out great for VIVA because there was like 300-400 people in the club before the clock even hit 1 am which is unusual for a club which usually doesn't start getting busy until about 2 am:eek: It was rammed the whole night and not many people left early. A lot of hot chicks came out for this one and it was amongst the hottest crowds I have seen in a while at VIVA so there was lots of eye candy for sure:gsmile: I felt like I was at an Asian Maxim party:happy2:
As for the music Lil Bad Ass played easily one of the best sets I have heard him play in his time at VIVA and he did a good job of staying away from that hip hop and rock turned into house and trance tunes which he sometimes gets into:tongue3
Kenny Glasgow was having some serious fun with that system and did a really good job considering that I didn't know how he would adapt to the VIVA vibe and system but he exceeded my expectations and I was pleased with his performance.
As for Mark Oliver I don't know what was up with that first hour of his set which at times had people literally slow dancing like it was a high school dance:tongue3 The last 3 hours were really good though so I will just pretend like that first hour never happened:D :happy2:
All 3 DJ's brought a different style to the table and it came came together rather nicely with some really good and different forms of house(progressive, tribal, hard ect.)being played along with techno and trance as well so it was well rounded and left my musical tastes satisfied even though I am one of those people who wants trance 24/7:D
Apparently we haven't seen the last of Kenny Glasgow at VIVA because he will be doing a monthly residency from what I have heard:D
PS Judy your cookies rocked:D :gsmile: ;) |
