You got it all wrong.
ID&T arent quitting the stuff. Its quite the opposite, they have grown so big they have to split up the different parts of their business to be able to handle it. So dont worry.

They popularise, commercialised and killed hardcore

Q-Dance was born.

Q-dance was founded because of the growing popularity of oldschool hardcore, uk hardhouse and the upcoming hardstyl. It was founded by some friends of Duncan & Miles Stutterheim. I believe Duncan and some other ID-T people have some shares in Q-dance but Q-dance isn't ID-T. And Id-T doenst own Q-dance completly

Irfan Van Ewijk, Duncan Stutterheim & Menthal Theo are the ones Behind ID&T but too bad they all left ID&T in 1992(Mental-T) 1994(Duncan & Irfan) :tongue3

Irfan and Duncan are still working for ID-T.
Mental Theo isn't the T in ID-T. Not 100% sure but 99& sure.
Mental Theo only compiled and mixed some thunderdome cd's

Indeed the T stands for Theo. But not the dj/producer Mental Theo
jp
Theo Lelie

Mental Theo (Theo Nabuurs) made the Thunderdome CD's

There is only one thing which can make their company grow again, expand... Create huge parties all over the world, i mean, most non-dance-addict people in Holland get bored after a while with huge dance parties, so they stop buying tickets. Bringing parties like Sensation and Trance Energy to foreign countries will be fresh to all those foreign people, i bet the demand is enourmous.

Yes, those would be HUUUGE.
Sigh..Trance Energy Thailand....wishful thinking:(

when ID-T have hot tunes like tulips and chocolate on their label i wouldnt worry about them going bankrupt, i just cant see it happening

Its truly sad the way some people get on, once music is recognised and popular with a significant group of people, the diehard "pioneer fans" suddenly find their style of music "uncool" and find something else to listen to. Truly sad. They then begin the whole process of setting a whole new trend or continue to critizise the music to death until absolutly nobody likes it again due to the slagging they get from their mates.

If everyone in the world liked dance music, no matter what style tomorrow, my world would be a much happier place and it wouldnt bother me in the slightest that the music had world support and recognition. Imagine the dance festivals!! It seams to me some people are just not in it for the music at all but to act "cool" with their mates, making them totally shallow and lame people with no lives.

damn your are nagging man. just see the facts mate. In the period 1997-1999 they (also some other promoters and recordcompanys) killed hardcore

They stoped broadcasting q-dance ,becouse q-dance isnt under ID$T anymore also they probbly want more hip hop and rap on the station
hardstyle
Also i wish ID-T would start drum and bass events. Drum and bass is one of the styles what grows its popularity really fast all around the world. I wish id-t would promote Metalheads or TruePlayas night
