A1: Second Wave (Signum Signal 2004 Remake)
B1: Come Around Again (DJ Danjo & Rob Styles mix)
B2: Second Wave (original mix)

What do you guys think of the 2004 remix? I think its pretty crap tbh - a very average remix (doesnt have the 'power' of the original)

Im only buying this vinyl for the original mix which ive been trying to get for ages (seen it on ebay many times but it always goes for a high price)

Yep, that about sums it up for me too. The 2004 remake is total trash.

Signum really need to get some better ideas than rehashing their oldies and quick.

that's sad cause IMO First Strike remake was really good.
I won't buy this , I'm owning the original version :D

It seems like they took the original and just smoothed out all the edges, removing all the energy in the process and leaving it a generic mash-up of tired sounds. I'm really not sure why they did that. :conf:

The mix of Come Around Again betters the original, but that's not significant praise.

there is not as much energy as in the original, that is true

the remake is still good, though. i love the techy beats and those huge synths

original is massive and mindblowing while the new mix is dull and boring:)

exactly
would never ever sell my original copy anyway cos it's signed, so it doesn't de-value it for me
