center of the club/rave just a bit above the crowd. to high is annoying if u want to see the dj and to low just dont look right.
my 2 cents |

depends what sort of club and what sort of music. theres a club in nottingnham,uk, called the bomb, and the dj booth is right on the dancefloor, you couls literally lift one of the vinyls of the decks if you so chose to. the room is tiny and so it makes it really intimate, and works well for stuff l;ike prog and house. saw hernan destroy rock and roll a year ago there.
other places like gatecrasher the dj booth was(:() elevated, and it works well beacause the music is big room trance, and so you want the room big and bright. |

| Doesnt matter. The more quiet the booth is the better though. |

I prefer the Dj booth in the center, a bit up high from the crowd level (like The End in London).
Worst dj booth I've seen --> Amnesia (Ibiza). The Dj booth is elevated 3 or 4 meters and you only can see the head of the Dj. |
