I wanted to come out mainly to see Kenny since I have never seen the guy live before. His opening to the night was just right. Funky house that I was able to get into rather quickly. I'm sure if Kenny had a longer set.....he would have owned me!!
Stacey Pullen was pure insanity!!!!!! I haven't busted a move to set like this one in a very long time!!! He blew my mind right from the start till the very end of his set! This guy is an example of why I LOVE to party SO MUCH and dance my heart away! I was loving every minute of it. I was very happy that I wore by best dancing shoes that night!!
Adam Marshall was pretty good from what I got before I decided to end the night.
Thanks to all the TA's that came out!! It is nice to party with such an amazing group of people. CUZO....you are absolutely crazy for coming out on no sleep. It was nice seeing you again!
Special thanks to Playa24_7 for coming out and being able to keep up with me!! Dan, you know you should break out those glowsticks at least once at a party ;)

Last minute stuff, and me and dance2dabeat ending up going to Boa together. Got there pretty much on time, with a short wait in the motha freezin cold outside.
It started with some funky house and moved to some harder stuff pretty quick in the night. While dancing around met Cuzo who had no sleep, and was somehow still going friggin crazy dancing. Met up with rabbitjoker, stereoprincess, gamma, diginut, and as i suck with names, thats all i'll say for now lol.
Kenny Glasgow was awesome! It didnt take long at all to get into it, which was awesome because I wanted to dance! haha. Funky house, some harder stuff soon after, wicked all around!
Stacey Pullen, holy FAAAAAAACK! I've NEVER EVER danced so hard! I usually dance crazy, but to that set, I was just out of control! There was like no time to rest on the floor, just pure dancing hardcore for the entire time.
Got home at 8:20am, slept till 5pm, woke up realizing I lost my NYE ticket for Boa, and need another one lol fack.
It was super hard to keep up with you kelly, i've never seen you dance that hard in all the times we've been out. Fack you were goin nuts! Thanks for driving as you always do haha. I'll hook you up with some windsheild washer fluid :D cause you massive need that z lol |

Kenny and Stacey both killed it. I still don't fully understand the "intelligent techno" label after hearing Pullen's set; it was a lot of electro style techno with a few funky tracks thrown in here and there. Not many minimal tracks at all (thank God). Definitely kickin' juicy beats all night.
The crowd was actually pretty good too despite the timing, which was a nice surprise. This was the first time I heard techno on Boa's sound system and I ing LOVED it, so I didn't pace myself too well that night, so after about 12 bottles of water I was about to collapse from exhaustion and had to leave. :p
Most of you guys left EARLY man, ya didn't even say goodbye! Hope you had a good time anyway. |
