Personal shipment overseas question

I've already had to relocate across the atlantic once and I haven't really had to mail stuff across before but this time I'm going to have too.
Basically,
What would you guys recommend for shipping 100+ vinyls from USA to France?
I'm a bit sketchy with UPS/Fedex because of the cost involved (150+$)....
I'm being forgetful if such a personal package would get taxed as well but I guess I'll have to figure out.
Also a bit lacking on the confidence side with shipping regular mail ....

Cheap
but will take about 6-8 weeks
Id recommend sending them in a metal record box, and then put the box inside a cardboard box too.
And a small padlock on the record box is advisable. |
