I think the title says it all about why it's used so much ;)

Or, perhaps this quote from Discogs does it even better:

quote:
The liner notes for FSOL's album Lifeforms make mention of an Amorphous Androgynous album with a plain black cover called Environments, but this album was never released.

saying that snoop dogg = hiphop is like saying dj sammy = trance

snoop even played roles in ty movies, so in a way he's even more commercial :Q

Replace Snoop Dogg with Nelly or Ja Rule and you're more on track. Snoop has loads more credibility and talent than DJ Sammy has in their respective genres. Ever heard of "Doggystyle"?

i'd say it fits pretty well with snoop

no wonder most real hiphop legends throws at him

I dunno what sort of stick he gets now, but comparing him to DJ Sammy when he's done an album like Doggystyle is just wrong, regardless of his gangsta/bling attitude.

i agree. like i've mentioned, n0bben those are some of the rap artists i grew up with, Biggy representing my city hehe. i still have that "Doggystyle" tape from back in the day (mint condition) and it's damn good... :D

n0bben i think if you were raised in New York you'd likewise appreciate Biggy, Snoop, and the like ;)

back to topic, i'd like to hear Oliver Klein's or Three 'N' One's EMs.. anyone know or have them, or know if they exist?
beats and beeps
That oakenfold at london home essential mix, was the first set I ever heard.

I still listen to it. Not sure why really.
