Reason VS Cubase

Ok, I am trying to decide which program to learn first... you can help me by voting for which program that you prefer. Please feel free to explain why you are voting a certain way, or just vote...both will help me out... I'd like to see what most producer's preference is.....

Thanks in advance for your help! :tongue2
Subtle
Cubase and Logic would be comparable.. but u cant compere these sequencers.. its almost impossible.. Reason costs half of what Cubase does, and doesnt have Rewire support.. Reason is a music program designed for mostly EDM music, and u cant record stuff with Reason etc. Cubase has alot more features as well.. and also u wouldt get any straight answers.. cause people will stand by the sequencer they use.. and my answer would be Cubase without a doubt..

but on the other hand.. we can make a list of why`s and not`s reason to use Reason instead of Cubase

why`s
Reason has a easier learning curve
it makes u have to stick with what u have and learn that fully
Workflow i guess is better
u can rewire for best of both worlds
excellent CPU usage

dont`s
u cant record
u cant use VSt`s
u cant use Hardware synth
doesnt have as many functions
sound can lack alot of variation

just my cents
sound quality is down a notch

reason + cubase seems to be the way to go from what i have heard, even if i haven't actually tried any of them ;)

I hate this sort of questions. Its the producer who does the job not the program.

Exactly. Just try them out and see which one you prefer. Or just get both.
