audiogalaxy is crazy!
just for fun I try searching for my own mixes from time to time. Usually I get a couple of hits (like 2 or 5 at best). Today I searched for my newest one and found it, but this came out:
" dj dawn - October 2001
SEARCH PROHIBITED You cannot request this song due to copyright restrictions. Please try a different search. "
What's this:conf:??????
my own mix, dl prohibited? On what do they base their blocking?
I don't understand this at all....
anyone?
edit: I just searched some more: "June 2001", "Technoid", "Retroactive" all blocked!! Only "On the beach" is still there. This sux! |

...sometimes when we go to the mall we see things that we want, but we can't afford them. Happens to me all the time. Don't sweat it, Steve, I don't think it'll happen again!

| if they are vinyl mixes, then ag have no right to block them. so you ought to email them and complain. |

Well..
technically, it should be illegal to even record a mix.
actually, no.. not in europe, you pay that public license fee right?
over in canada, even to play a record for your friends is public performance and thus illegal.
LAME! |

Thats not true RavingLunatic. Your friend is not public. Its private. Otherwise you wouldnt be able to listen to a CD unless you were by yourself. And thats not true.
Public performance means like IN PUBLIC. like a park for other people. But really, nobody will ever crack down on a PURCHASED Vinyl or CD being played unless that is the specific purpose of the event. IE. Come listen to XXX-XXX for $10. that they would get mad at. Otherwise, music would be non existant other than radio |

Yeah I know, they won't crack down on you. but technically, it's illegal, to throw a party and play a record, in canada. trust me. I looked it up, and have had discussions..
but, technically, it's illegal to jaywalk, or to do a lot of things.
doesn't mean you will ever get busted for it. |

LoL! About a year ago PISSBURGH (Pittsburgh) started to give jaywalkers tickets in the city cause so many people do it. |
