Anyone else addicted to this band?

One of my good friends is hooked to Audioslave.

Audioslave is the worst thing that could happen to Tom Morello. Listen to his technique on any RATM album and then compare it to what he does, or rather does NOT, on Audioslave album. To me it's a warmed-over grunge from 1992. It's 2004 ffs...

I was disappointed with Audioslave. I thought the songs were forgettable.
I always thought the whole "Rage" political slant was trite but man did these guys light it up live. |

unfortunately i think that it was tom morello's decision to sound more like that....
thats the reason that rage against the machine broke up. tom morello, and zach de la rocha (rage's vocalist) had conflicting views about where they were going sonicly...
and in some article i read interviewing tom morello, he was asked something like "will we ever hear any solos like we did when you were with RATM ever again?" and tom morello gave some kind of answer saying that just wasnt where his sound was goin anymore...
and that just sucks... |

| How could musicians with pasts in such energetic and vibrant bands end up sounding so grey, trite and lifeless as Audioslave? I can't believe it. |

| audioslave is good but rage was better ... a good band is the music they are from england ... i seen them twice they can rock :) |
