Hey everyone, I have a friend who currently has 2 Next 2500 decks... he's selling them because he's getting better ones since he's been getting more spots spinning at raves lately :)
I was wondering what everyone else thinks of these tables, he says they're comparable to stanton sr8-60's and he's selling the pair for $600 canadian (a tad under $400 american, don't ask about pounds of any other currency :P)
I'd just like to see what everyone thinks of those tables before i buy them.
Thanks! :) |

| My honest opinion.. If your serious about DJing, then i suggest grabbing nothing less than technics cause you will definitely use them!, however if you can't afford them like most people out there then grab the Next tables, since they are direct drive and affordable, it is at least something for you to practice with but eventually you will have to grab technics cause that is all clubs/raves use. Another thing is that you may not get as much for those tables when you decide to sell them, you just can not get rid of them for a fair price unlike technics. |

I am serious about DJing, I'm not quite sure if I'll get anywhere with it though ;)
So basically my concern is just to get decent tables that work... if I need better ones later on, so be it... I just don't want to spend $2000 on tables if I'm just gonna be spinning for myself

Yeah, I don't know how those NEXT 2500 Tables are, however I heard that Stanton Tables *period* are not really well constructed. If you want something cheap.. and good to practice on, try Gemini Higher end Direct drive tables.. It is tough to suggest anything other than Technics..
