yeah this is quite nice, the strings and melody are sweet.. and the breakbeat.. some of the synths, like that lead, sound a bit.... ummmmmmmmmmmm, i duno "presety" almost, the one that starts at 2:20 is the one im talking about, i think that sound could use some work, but its really no big deal. the vibe in this is awsome, really cool melody and feel to it... those strings are magical. over all im missing something, it sounds like the overall mix could use some work, like the sounds are all quite bland and static at the mo (to my ears).. oh wow.. just went 4x4.. thats awsome... now it sounds great!! so i take back most of what i said about the sounds being bland.. they sound great here. this is lovely, just that one lead i dont like. give it some more reverb or something i recon, and take off some of that release to give the reverb some room. anyway great track, i like it :) i actually dont hear the bass issue.. but im listening through headphones right now, ill try it on a decent system tomoro.

I like this slow progession in the opening minute.
I think your bassline is a little thundery. I'd cut back on the release. It's got a nice punch, but the sounds lasts too long.
I really like it. It's a very soothing track. You guys keep on outdoing yourselves with every track. |

-could do without the sea sample at the start and a more DJ friendly intro
-piano is a bit too bassy, punch the highs and cut the bass
-the pluck that comes in sounds a bit cheap
-could EQ and fx the pluck more the make it less raw/dry
-the strings really add depth and u could have had them low filtered at the start to give it some warmth
-the change to 4x4 definately has thrown the flow
-a newer melody to bring in the 4x4 could have made it more edgy
-at 5:36 the kick is going on too long now..
-dont like the kick rolls at 6:00
-the track has lost all energy now and the warmth of the strings has faded
-more snappy energetic percussions might help instead of the house loop
overall....not really a track good enough to be played out. but with minor improvements and structure changes, it could be a lot better.
6/10
p.s do not mean to sound rude just giving honest opinion |

Must have missed this.
The structure of the song reminds me somewhat of PvD's Together We Will Conquer; starts up with breaks and then chance to 4/4 beat. The song is nice to listen to, but there's not much that really sticks to my mind after I close winamp. Not like Shattered Dreams.
Anyway, it's rather enjoyable while it plays and it's a good production. Not top notch, but it works. My 2 cents. :) |

I've thought about that but somehow it just doesn't feel right. |
