oh ... how far away is that from the original event because we booked the closest hotel according to where the venue is and since we are coming from Toronto we will have to find a new route to go there now...

I would say its more like 30 minutes....
but its still not that bad.....also depends where you are in Laval....but since you cross a bridge theres still a good 20 minutes drive...especially if your not familiar with the road to take

I was about to say the same thing. I'd say, by time you get from Laval to downtown Montreal, depending on the traffic, it'll be atleast 45 minutes after parking. Add the New Year's Eve traffic going down the 15, and you are going to be there in 45 minutes for sure.

it may seems far but its really not that big of a deal

we live in montreal and we go play arcades in laval:D

I live in Laval and take the bus/metro to downtown mtl every moroning. Takes me about 50mins. when i used to drive, no trafic = 15-20mins. with traffic 30-50mins.
But its really not that far. all you have to remember is. take the 15 south to mtl, then hit the 40 towards ottawa, then about 1km down that take Decarie on the left side all the way to downtown. nice and easy. Anyways im sure you'll all figure it out
