look at the charts about 20 years ago, packed full of aussie rock (not this whiney sad face band either) good ing rock n roll. this country has gone down the toilet now, the charts are full of black american RUBBISH, sold on video clips full of skanks and dicks who cant put a sentence forward without some reference to the female body. its a bloody outrage!
flashdance is POP, its a huge sell out on deep dish's part, sinking lower than ever before. not to mention its crap.
oh and why do i put britney's latest, kelis' offerings and gwen stefani above the rest of the commercial world? simple, listen to the production behind these tracks - its tight as. mucho respect for that kinda work put into tracks. (yer its still wrong, uttery utterly wrong, but hey, being subjected to it everyday at work takes its toll on me)

Flashdance = CRAP.
I can't see what everyone loves about this track, its so ing boring, does nothing, those vocals are insipid at best, absolutely terrible, crap, I hate it so much.

Was at work all this week abusing the radio, much to the bemusement of my colleagues. Not to mention yesterday on Austereo, Kyle and Jackie O's top 100 of 2004 (which was about 90% e), which was very handily replayed today, so I got it yesteray all day at work, and then all day today at work!!!!!
As for best pop song of the year.................
There's this one song, got no idea what its called or who its by, but its not too bad. Will get back once I find out what the hell its called.

Gwen stefani has less than no . Period. I don't know if that was the inspiration behind that chart topping track "what are you waiting for". Perhaps she was waiting to get breast implants? Perhaps she was waiting for someone to pay for her breast implants? Either way, I'm sure she would be better off with breast implants, so let us now all donate to her imaginary breast implant fund.
And while we're in a charitable mode, let us donate to her "I wish I didn't look like marilyn monroe on crack" fund and the "I wish I didn't need 50 backing vocalists and a whole heap of vocal prossessing to get my voice sounding half tolerable" fund.
Not only that, her tracks are the epitomy of American inspired pop cheese. Trying to infuse a punk rock imagine into a mainstream pop ballard doesn't make the music sound any better.

Oh and Avril was never fabricated was she? She wrote all her own songs, knows how to play the guitar, has an awesome performing voice, looks hot without makeup and is an icon of punk?
