Recording Live Sets

I'm sure this has come up many times before, but I was just curious to know how many people use MiniDisc or iRiver recorders to record live sets right from their mixers (assuming your mixer supports it). I was thinking about buying one and wanted to get an idea of who uses what. Thanks all and Happy New Year

iRiver rules, MiniDisc, not so much, I returned my minidisc player and got an iRiver. |

Not related but Iriver Mp3 players rock...I have one for 2 yrs now and still works flawlessly :) |
