sadly i'm finding it hard to produce trance at the moment without it sounding overly 'standard', which is why i've been trying other stuff.

Man, there are enough pads in there for the women of the world. I love everything about this track! Did you do any work outside of reason? This is great! :)
Constructive: i think the kick is a little too non-ambient... try something that takes up a lot of space and maybe has some reverb on it :) |

Gotta say it grew on me a bit more the last few days! I thought it was pretty minimalistic (it is in fact more ambient-oriented), though it felt better after listening again.
