lol, I've been making Nintendo sound tracks recently. I'd post something but I got no webspace.
I was actually hoping to hear some more bleepy/retro style synths. Like basic squares, or a bit more like that first synth. And I think that would have worked better in this case.
The percussion is somewhat basic, and the track kinda drags on and becomes too repetitive. I did like some of the FX you used otherwise.
The kick ends up becoming messy and a bit too powerful. Would have liked to have heard a definite bassline of some type too.
It's a good idea in practise, but I don't think it's quite worked here. Definitely something different though, and props for experimenting. |
