This IS exactly the reason why trance, and edm in general cannot go mainstream. Because we will be inundated with tripe, formulaic, vocal pop as evinced by the majority of this top 20. We all wish to hear trance more and more, but is this the kinda trance we want to hear on the radio/tv/at clubs? I don't, and I don't think you do either.
So in a way I'm hoping registration on TA declines in the new year and people who favor this top 20 material graduate high school and find another style of music to rape.
and Peter Martin, perfect wave was class, 10x better damn near everything on this list. and I can't blame armin, he spun what was voted for...I guess this must be how the democrats feel after the election in the USA. |

I see your point, but isn't ASOT the nearest thing to a popular music show that trance has? To be fair I thought it could have been worse, or after 18 years of listening to EDM my tastes suddenly sux! ;) |

| What pissed me off most was that he played only about half of #1, the tracks 20-11 were quite dubious - how did Communication Part 69 do so well? Some great tracks tho in general, well done listeners!! :p |
