| If there is consciousness after death, I think it's pretty much the few seconds it takes for your life to leave your body |

"u watch the video and you wake up dead!
How the hell u gonna wake up dead? ur already dead!"
scary movie 3 was the best of the trilogy
anyways, i would think that you might remain concious until the lack of oxygen kills the brain. i think with the electricity sparking up in ur head would mean activity is still going on up there |

| I'm thinking Clinical Death resembles your everyday dream state. The article itself expresses there is a definite difference between Clinical Death, where some bodily process still carry on, and Biological Death, where there is a complete cessation of all functions and resuscitation is impossible. So, I think that it’s still believable that people in the Clinical Death state still have the ability to dream and they misconstrue this as the great beyond. |

Well if you are catholic, or even chistian you have to believe in life after death. I just hope when I dye I become a ghost so I can mess with people. That would be tight. |

yeah, after reading what the people said they saw, or the stories, when they 'died' (clinical death) i think its all based on what they believe, or what they wanted happen to themselves.
and perhaps after we die 'biological death' our basic brain still can think and remain conscious from some -behind the scenes- activity going on. kinda like dark matter keeping it alive. kinda keeps me thinking now, but nobody really will know perhaps ever, but at least until some major tech breakthroughs (aka future :D) |

energy cant be created and energy cant be destroyed.
so what happens with the energy that fuels us? something must happen to it |

If you're talking about energy we use to do bodily functions, then the energy is used to do bodily functions. |
