Same here... I had to miss Matt Hardwick that first time he was here, but this time I'll be there, and having Schryer there is such another bonus to the party, not to mention my fav DnB group Bad Company. Wow what a line-up. |

Just confirmed I DO indeed have that birthday party to attend up in Glencairn... and its all weekend long!
shes ones one of my best friends and would KILL me if i shafted her like that and hit up this bloody sick Destiny party!

Destiny has always thrown great all ages parties since way back in the 90's .. part of the reason why the scene was so strong back then was because it was a very inclusive community. if things remain exclusionary, it will only make promoting the EDM scene to a wider audience all the more difficult. besides for every kid not at one of these parties is another kid now in some hiphop/rnb/top40 club..
and then people here always wonder why the scene is the way it is ..
a good all ages scene is the foundation of a better 19+ scene.. everything has to start somewhere

Exactly. I was 16 years old when I got into "the scene". I didn't bring an attitude. I was very open to the scene as everyone in the scene was very open to me. Granted, if I had met people like you oleshka, I probably wouldn't be as open as I am now.
Yes, many if not most 16 year olds are gino supremo bambinos or fiddy cent street toughs, but not all of them are. You have to learn to give some of them a chance. |
