Alright guys,
So this is last minute, but as we all know, happens...I would have posted this in the appropriate thread, but I want to make sure everyone going to this does not miss it...turns out La Cage Aux Sports, which is where the meet-up was going to be held, closes at 4:00PM...I called to confirm today and was told that unfortunately, they believe that opening at night while a rave is going on next door is too "dangerous", whatever that means...so yeah...

Walking distance from Bell Center: 5-6 minutes
Great Irish Pub. Well known by Montreal peeps, and for good reason. Great atmosphere, good food and drink, pool tables, dart boards and so forth. This should definitely be at the top of our list in terms of meetups, although it might be packed for New Year's Eve and is a bit further than the other options we have available.
Now the advantage of this venue, other than the fact that it's actually open at 9:00 PM (:p) is that it has a great atmosphere, a live band, and some very good and cheap beer...also, there is NO COVER CHARGE...
The disadvantage is that it's probably going to be a bit packed, although I'll try to get there and save some spots for everyone...I talked to the owner and he mentioned that the last place that gets filled up is usually the Mezzanine area, which is located on top of the main bar (you have to go upstairs), so check there first...
Finally, it is a 5 minute walk from the Bell Center, so that kinda sucks, although it's going to be unusually WARM on NYE for Montreal (a low of 0C or 32F) MAKE SURE TO GET UMBRELLAS, IT'S GOING TO BE RAINING TOMORROW.
ALSO, THE OFFICIAL TA MEET-UP INSIDE THE BELL CENTER WILL BE THE AREA TO THE RIGHT OF THE DJ BOOTH AT 1:30 AM...WE'LL BE THERE MOST OF THE NIGHT ANYWAY, SO WHOEVER CAN'T MAKE IT AT THAT TIME, MAKE SURE TO PASS AFTER...
