now i dont mean reallllly afraid but i would be pretty pissed IF for some reason i stopped listening to EDM and moved onto something else. like i dont want that to ever happen:confused: :( :nervous: but it could and probably will eventually
who here is pretty fuken determined that they will always listen to edm? i dont think that many huh? i dont kno u tell me
for me, i think it will always be great music, but i dont kno if i would listen to it anymore :(
we'll see. only time will tell ;|
but i kinda like to think of it as "if u have always liked women (cuz ur straight heh:D ) and u kno u will always like them (of course) then just believe that u will always like trance; force urself to keep liking it even if it feels like its getting too old for u"
it has happened to me a few times that i was like thinking "oh this trance is getting fuken boring" but then i force myself to listen it. and then i like it again:)

my answer is: yes, in a way, u are.
due to the abundance of genres or sub-genres in EDM out there in addition to the ones taht keep springing up, u would never have lack of EDM to be addicted to. Dont box urself to only one genre and u'll be fine cos variety is key.
i used to listen to trance until about 2 years ago when i found it all just repeating itself and lacked creativity. now i listen to breaks. still in EDM, jsut not boxed :)
then again, whats wrong with listening to anythign non EDM? i listen to everything (including country) |

Just don't listen to EDM all the time. I used to listen to trance 24/7 and I got bored of it after 2 years.
Now I listen to Punk and Hip Hop in the car and when I'm at the clubbs .. I don't get bored of EDM. |

anyway, i listen to all edm: trance,techno,house,psy,and prog.
but mostly trance and prog. techno is great for parties cuz they just keep u going and going.
but my question was do u think u will always be into EDM? |

| im not worried about ever disliking edm, i think that ill always be listening to it, edm has many genres so i dont think i can get bored with it, i still listen to other types of music though, not just edm so im not worried. |

nope...but i will move back and forth
i used to be a hardcore rocker, was in 9 bands before, played the guitar etc etc, now i only listen to EDM.
however i still listen to rock/alternative on the radio all the time and i also watch music channels only for rock.
i think that would be the same case with EDM eventually. it doesnt bother me, its jsut how one matures into music and its not a bad thing if someone stays in one genre all their life but theres more out there....
