High School Stabbing - Teen finaly got caught

It was one of the most shocking crimes in recent memory in the G.T.A. – a gang of 10-15 teens swarmed a 16-year-old high school student and stabbed him to death.
The victim was Andrew Stewart, a popular teen on campus at East York Collegiate. He’d just come to the aid of a pregnant friend, when he was attacked outside a Coxwell Ave. restaurant on December 3rd.
Now police allege they’ve found the person who wielded that deadly blade. He’s a 17-year-old young offender, who was arrested Thursday afternoon, and charged with first-degree murder.
Cops are limited in what they can say about the suspect, but confirm he wasn’t a student at the school, and that he lived ‘in the immediate area.’
Investigators say they received a lot of help from both CrimeStoppers and the community to crack the case, including parents who brought their kids to the police station and those teens who came in voluntarily.
They’ve also talked to a large number of those who were there on the day of the crime. And one of the lead detectives has a message for them.
“We know a lot more now than we did several weeks ago at the beginning of this,” confirms Staff Inspector Jeff McGuire. “So I would just suggest to anyone who has been interviewed who is involved in that group, and if you perhaps have not told us the truth, we probably know that now … And [it’s] actually irrelevant if you come forward or not, because we'll be coming back to you.”
McGuire refused to say what the motive was for the crime or whether Stewart knew the victim before the killing.
He claims Stewart's family is pleased with the arrest, but can never consider the case closed, after losing their son to such senseless violence.

Kids like this should be sent to a boot camp and do some serious community service on top of their sentence...
I'm happy for the family that they caught the guy.

Next election vote for someone with the gonads to throw kids like this in jail for a minimum of 25 years. |
