I was just curious how you guys organize your VSTs and Samples. My synths are a mess but my fx are all in folders for what they do. Looking for suggestions as to what to do with the Synths. Thanks -- Ryan

For now I do it by manufacturer.
Low Profile
I have 2 main folders, one for FX and one for instruments.

My FX is split into subfolders called Delay, Reverb, Modulation, Compression, Filter and Mastering. I try to categorize most of my FX into those folders.

My instruments are split into:
Samplers - Samplers and Audio modules, jsut anything to do with samples),
Freeware - I keep all my freeware synths there, but since most of my FX is freeware I don't keep them seperate)
Modern - where I keep my modern synth, Z3ta+, Albino, V-Station etc.)
Vintage - Where I keep ImpOscar, Minimoog V and more)

I have alot of synths (about 20 plus LOTS of freeware stuff) and alot more FX, but I'm always pretty quick finding what I'm looking for :)
