REVIEW: Vault in Waterloo/TA event (pg. 2)

A big thanks to Barry (AMPZ) & Tim (Tygon) for setting this night up. There is a very nice group of K/W & Guelph peeps who know how to have a great time, and judging by how the night went, I predict plenty more fun nights in Waterloo...
It was really nice having a few Toronto friends drive down, and seeing my pals Dennis, Chris, and Barry. I was a bit overwhelmed trying to remember everyone's names, but nice to meet you all, and hopefully I'll be back agian to Waterloo in not too long ;)
Here are a few of the tracks I played that people either wanted to know the names of, or just straight up got funky on the dancefloor to:

Clubbervision - Dream Off (Leeds & Schultz Mix)
Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes

Also Eso played one of his own productions - Way Off Here (Sorry if I got the name wrong Peter, but it sounded wicked no matter what its called).
I really liked Tygon's tracks, very much up my alley, and AMPZ just can't dissapoint no matter what... He rules!!

I hereby vote Reversed as Ampz's official announcer (hey, come on, all the big guys have one)... :)
But seriously, the best thing about the Vault are the washrooms. You really wouldn't want to be on any sort of drug when navigating the bright red labyrinth corridors.. It's bad enough when you've had a few drinks! |

Thanks for a great night guys! It was a lot of fun. Most of you have summed up the evening pretty well. I will have the pictures up on my site when I am back in Kingston. For those of you on my MSN I will zip em off when I can.
It was such a great night....dinner was good, the Vault is a nice club/lounge, but could be arranged a little differently. Thanks to Chris (amb_) for being my dancing partner when no one else would dance yet :)
Cale and Dan you rock as always. In 2 weeks Cale I will give you a break and drive :) Dan, ease up on the liquor next time (man you are a blast!)
Nice to meet everyone. You are all super nice people, even the old one (you know who you are ;) )
I look forward to seeing you all again in 2 weeks :) |

first of big thanks to Barry and Tim for making this happen :)
Venue was very nice and relaxing, atmosphere superb, it was nice to meet so many new faces, you guys all rock ;) and it was nice too see some known faces too :)
here are some tracks i played

Music was awsome throught the whole night from start to finish, Tygon played some awsome tunes!!! esp age of love, and was very impressed with ampz's set(firewall - sincere) \o/, and it was super awsome playing with Rich once again :)!!!!
Hopefully i'll be back in waterloo soon :)

LOL omg. Sorry everyone about the kicking out situation, which I just found out about, because I was way WAY to loaded to remember lol. So massivly hung over right now. Normaly I dont get that super drunk haha, but that was like a once in awhile thing I guess. Just hope everyone had a good time, cause I feel basd, considering most left after apparently.
The night was wicked again though. All the djs rocked the house! Music was amazing, and once again everyone got up and danced crazy, with dancingqueen169 and amb starting it off together haha wicked. Awesome hanging with TAs again, and friends of TAs, great night
I would write more about the night, but its taken me like 10minutes to write this so far cause i'm just so out of it lol.
All in all a wicked night, sorry everyone for getting kicked out, hope you all had a wicked night and I didnt mess that up haha.

First of all. THANK YOU FOR COMMING OUT!
I think we have proven wrong that a Trance Party can be thrown in the K-W Guelph Area with success. (as weve done 2 plus a great radio show in a week).
First of all, Rich, Thank you for comming out. Set and company was amazing.
TOTA's: Thank you all. Was excelent to have you make the trip up. Hope your nights went exclent and it showed we can party too. Dont hesitate to come again, their is alway room at the Inn. Karen - Crazy....thats all i can say
KWTA (& Area): Support is VERY much appreciated. The night is for you guys :) Great to see eveyone out. Old and New.
As for the dinner, was very nice. Wish they were better with my reservations.
The vault proved to be a bit different then normal. Fuller. I talked to the owner (and the bouncer) and thanked them. They can deal with a few roudy ppl. As for the bartenders they were quite overworked. Need one more atleast to make it smoother. I think they appreciate us their and can deal with some of the handels we bring (it was the other drunk girl that kept asking for Dj Danny D-Z1035 stuff that really pissed them off and it spilled over)
Overall. an excelent time. Look forward to seeing the people. Ill have copy's of the sets if you want them in a few days
