Help from SF, Oakland, Sacramento/UC Davis TA's please

Hey I was supposed to be flying in to the area in Oakland. I was supposed to be staying in Sacramento w/ a friend from the 3rd-8th. Now my friend is flaking on me for the first couple of days & i cant get out of my ticket. So im stuck with a plane ticket to cali, so i want to go. I was wondering if i could stay with anyone Mon/Tuesday nite. I know its wierd cuz i dont know you & we've never met. I would really appreciate this, i have never been to cali before. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to look up hotels & etc. I'm a medical student, i dont have alot to spend lol.
