Alright girls and boys, it's true. I've finished a song for the first time in 1,5 years! :nervous:
It feels so daaaaaaamn goooood! :D
I've made a remix of a personal favourite of mine, Alien Pump by Tandu (although I'm not sure this is the final version). The orignal kicks ass and I wish I have done it some justice with this remix. I provide a 192 Kbps mp3 for your listening pleasure.

I know some of you liked the previous Prio Alea tune (If Looks Wouldn't Kill), so you may be glad to hear that I've decided to make a 2005 remake as it really deserves it. The mastering and sound quality is horrible to say the least. |

-nice fx at start
-kick and bass sit well with each other
-percs are nice and unique
-mastering seems to be ace so far
-lovely background fx swirling around
-not sure about that inital bass chord change
-great acid now, nice and rasping
-seems to be draggin a bit before the break...im waiting for something to happen
-hmmm when it goes back into the chord bass change i was hoping for something more interesting
-there is about 2 full minutes here that could just be cut and went straight to break
-good energy when it kicks back in, really sounds like something J00f might play you should email him the link ;)
-overall great track but about 3 minutes too long

Wicked PSY Trance Style stuff you got going on here!
I am liking it a lot.
- Perc And Kick Are Nice And Strong, Well EQ-ed etc.
- I Agree On The Whole Being Too Long For The Break Though Sadly.
- However, When The Breakdown Comes, F*ck Me! Wicked FX, And I Love That Lead!
- Lots OF Energy, And That Gorgeous Little Synthy FX That Comes In At 6.00 Befor It All Slams Back In Is Awesome!

i have no idea on psy, the music doesn't really appeal.
however it sounds very well produced, clear, well chosen sounds. only downer is the length of the track which pulls it down a bit

very cool tune and it has a decent kick too weee (unlike most psy in my ears)
not heard the original tune, so no idea what you used from it, but all the sounds are very nice, and it's really driving
only thing i can comment on, would like some more mad fx for instance in the drops at 6:30 and 8:58. just would have done more out of that maybe with some fx on the whole track or big acid bleeps or lasers or something (i have a thing for lasers) |

Great tune man!!
Never heard of the original but this remix of yours rock! Lovely Psy sounds, really digging the bassline…The only thing you might consider is adding some more FXs like Haak already mentioned, they will make your tune more diverse and interesting.
Man this production is top notch, ill defiantly be looking forward to hearing some more of your works.
What did you use to make it BTW? |
