yeah unfortunately when i got home i didn;t sleep very well..and plus my house was crazy with so much ppl and they were being loud..so i only slept till about 430ish. went back to bed around 10. So needless to say there was no round 2 for me :sadgreen:
I know i might regret it...but honestly i was not up for the drive to T.O all alone! oh well. I will definately catch Chus & Ceballos another time...and you can come with me!
I will post the pics on TA as soon as I can figure out how to download them to my pc..(this is new to me still hehe)
As for right now I am pretty bitter with BOA right now! But i have learned my lesson indeed. I regret not seeing TYSON as well!!! :sadgreen: |

okie dokie smokie, here it goes...........basically danced for twelve hours and that's why my back feels the way it does! Sara was wikkid on the decks int he lounge - big ups to your girlfriend!!!!!Tom staphan was amazing toooooooooo~ and c & C was wikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkid!!! OMG i love you guys! I love the muzik and loved the dancing..... . . i am in awwwwwww, b/c my ears are NOT ringing - (thanks god!) . . .

now, demi...
first time seen 'em live, he was in SOOO good.
he had the place BANGIN, such a good scene/vibe.
i'd honestly rate him a 9 - he was THAT good.
left around 5:45, knowing morales could never top what demi just did.
got back to the hotel, chilled, did our thing, and got a 2 hr nap.
did me surprisingly good.
got back 2 boa just about 4 for saeed, left @ 6 to chill again.
really good set btw, didnt disappoint, just barely anyone there.
now, tom stephen, heard a lot of good things about him,
just never seen 'em. he was REALLY good. def had him in the right slot
opened perfectly for chus & ceballos - who were GREAT:eyes:
best set of the marathon to me, hands down.
only lasted till 7, just couldnt dance anymore,
but i WANTED to stay:rolleyes: ....
all in all, GREAT weekend for me, capped off just right.
GREAT job boa, keep 'em coming:D
i was one of the ppl who DIDNT get caught in the coat check disaster.

And so... 4 hours after arriving from California, it was BOA time for me. Not a big fan of DDTT, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to party it up with all of my friends again.
Needless to say, I had some a great time at BOA, though 2nd night was pretty much out of the question, as I had trouble even standing on my feet, forget dancing.
The music was generally allright, but nothing special. Whoever was spinning in the smoking room around 5AM on 1st night was really awesome though! |

Don't really have the patience for a long ass review so I'll keep it short:
- Demi was awesome, from what I heard (missed the first few hours because I went to Sander K).
- Morales was pretty good, but not as good as the last time he was at Boa.
- Crowd was large but manageable, it wasn't jammed.
- Decor and setup was FANTASTIC, I was in awe when I first walked in there.
- Coat check incident was ridiculous. I heard the patio coat check had collapsed at the very beginning too, which is why the party started late and the coat check was indoors - as RJ put it, Boa obviously hired the wrong mechanical engineering firm for this party. :p
- All around great vibe in the place, I stayed 'til 10:30 AM or so and the place was starting to empty out but definitely still alive
Later on I saw Saeed and Cevin Fisher; neither were really my cup of tea but I guess "DDTT" fans would have loved it. Maybe I was just lacking energy because the place was pretty empty in the afternoon.
My alarm clocked ed me over from seeing C&C by not going off :mad: :( :( . I was 100% ready for the next party phase, and when I woke up and saw 7:00 AM on the clock I almost punched a hole in the wall. I'm sure they killed it, sad I missed it.
Edit: I also met a few new TAs but I couldn't hear a lot of your names, sorry. :p Only one I remember is spankmeister. It was great to meet you all, and I would have chatted more if I wasn't dancing right in front of the speaker! :) |
