Hi all

I'm using FL studio 5 ans softsynths like SW pro for some nice string and synth leads, but I have what I guess is a common problem of needing some other sounds to fill out the track and make it sound more beefy. What sort of vstis can be used for these sounds?
Sonicstyle
lineplug free alpha

A free synth called Vsynth is great for pads as it is a copy of the Prophet VS, ye olde pad synth..

Supersaw pads ar always nice, although perhaps a little overused.
But give Superwave P8 a go, you can make really nice pads with that

unison pwm pads can be as effective as supersaws imho, + they take less space in the mix so if there is allready a lot going on I prefer the pwm. Here can you find an example of what I mean (taken from my track Red Tears)

my pad machines = pro 53, vanguard, es2 as for sw; an1x and sh32 for hw (yea even my mc 505 got a nice pad, rise pad)
