Review: NYE @ System with Sander K and friends (pg. 2)

Had a fantastic time at SYSTEM. Dekoze played a killer warm up set and really got the place moving early. It was really nice being able to see him spin an early set as recently I have only been able to see him close or play really late and am missing vital energy. Sander K, as expected, was awesome. :D He played an excellent mix of dirty breaks to start off which I really enjoyed. When he dropped that Brain Bugs remix I almost died...there were so many happy older faces in the crowd who were clearly reliving some old experience that the song brought back for them that you couldn't help but smile. The sound system has definitely improved...very much a cleaner sound that allowed me to leave without the ringing in my ears. And they finally figured out the sound in the front which is great.
All in all a great night. Happy New Years to everyone....I hope avikonen, diginut and chinaman gave all of you the hugs and kisses I sent over to you at BOA!
Francis, thank you so very much for dropping by for Aaron and Matt's set. Was awesome to see you! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your NYE marathon night!
Derek, awesome seeing you. Your 2 friends were just lovely! Be sure to say hi to June for me if you hear from hi. |

lol maybe all those TOTAs that went tehre can throw together that review for me....all i can say is it was a night full of suspense, drama, revenge, sex (oh wait..that was almost there until the drama kicked in), good music, fun and frolic....damn theres prolly more categories this night wouldve fallen under....u could say my night couldve been made into a movie just like "Groove" or for that matter "go" cos of all the sideplots and all...lol one day...one day |

Brain Bugs ... waht track exactly is this if u dont mind me asking. aslo waht was the tracklist?
i saw him at celebration.. the only tracks i could id (few even though i know usually every song sander plays) are up on the review thread :) |

if he played a new remix of it then it was probably the stephan luke mix...him + lawler have been hammering that out since the summer... |

amazing how im standing there that night with literally this expression: :eyes: :conf: wondering where ive heard the track before adn then now i realize that i loved it ever since that victorias secret commercial from back in 2000/2001 |
