Its not the first time that this has happened. It always seems to be the asian's unless (nas/50/pdiddy are in the area). Obviousely its not all asians. But it may be the ones that go for other reasons, not including the music(drugs, sex, starting fights...). I dunno:conf: . It just sucks:whip: :whip: . I don't see anything changing in the immidiate future.

Well, he may not have been trying to, but he sure does a damn good impression. And I didn't even mention the fact that he said FOB... Whatever, I guess.

I wouldn't know.

I'd NEVER gone clubbing in NYC cuz I'd only gotten into EDM in '99, and started clubbing in '02....and had moved away from NY in '97.

I did get to see the inside of Avalon during DI.fm's live broadcast of Ferry, though...it didn't look bad...

....but then again, that was filmed in night-vision so I coulda easily missed something.

it def wasn't the asians that caused the problems at least when ive been there. Its just the people that avalon promots to. I would really doubt that more then 10% of the people there could tell you who the dj was. It seems people just go there to h/u, pick up girls. I think that if avalon changed the rap rooms to prog/house rooms, the envirnment would improve. It seems like avalon is just after the money $$$...

I guess the crowd at Avalon needs to take more X after all, not coke or pounding too much liquor or whatever makes them want to go Kill Bill on people's ass.

Sad week in NYC for 2 clubs to be caught with patrons taking the Wu-Tang sword style literally.

It's partying people with dance music, we're supposed to be happy having a good time. Sorry for my failure to understand these knuckleheads.

Oh well, off to Crobar to see Sander K. Fortunately, Crobar has been pretty damn good in keeping things sane.

I guess it would sound deragotory to a non-Asian.

At least amongst Koreans, its used all the time - FOBs and Twinkies. There's no insult meant behind it, its just a label for what kind of Korean you are - Korean born or American born.
