as most of us here i have a ton of livesets that i want to put markers in so that when i burn them i can skip from one track to the next. What is a good program to use for this? Im kinda dumb with comp stuff so i need a program thats really east to use and figure out or comes with a guide. I have an mp3/cd player in my car so if i split up a set and burn it as an mp3 will i still be able to skip from one track to the next. Im tired of listning to my tiesto- live at trace energy 00 set as just one entire track. THanks for all the help

I've heard Nero has a built-in function for creating .cue files (which include the markers you speak of).

Splitting the file during burning:
1. download or create a .cue file detailing the index for each track.
refer to this tutorial on how to create cue files.
2. use Nero to load the .cue file and burn.
alternatively,
Split the file before burning:
1. use music cutter to split the tracks (you can use cue files with this too)
2. use burning application to burn to cd |

yo, if you can, use cue files but if you dont, then you can manually separate each song from the set with the built in editor of songs that nero has in it. its on the express nero program, you have to go to properties of the file (when you add a file to the tracklist of your cd) and there you can separate each song of the set manually, its very easy.

i have nero, so all i do is open a file and then make the marks in it. What do i start under, burn a cd or what all do i do.
