errr, jizza, i think that your attitude is a fair bit worse than his :\.
all he did was summarize his day, which included taking drugs, just because the majority of ppl on these forums dont talk about drugs doesnt make it illegal to do so here... not saying that i encourage talking about it but yeah. (see one.tjc's post). |

i know wat u guyz mean by the drugs crap though, but realise my sig is 3 years old.. yeh i joined when this board when i was 15ish and put that sig up coz i thought it was cool, even though i had never touched drugs before in my life
so in actual fact, i loved trance not because of the drugs, but because i loved trance, i could ofcourse explain deeper, but no body wants to talk bout this drugs stuff.
so wat ever some of u guyz are trying to dish out to me of being a drug addict or just some raver who doesnt appreciated the music, another big YOU, i joined this board coz i love the music and i only started experimenting this year, so jizza get your facts straight, nuff said.
for the others, i appreciate the support, nice to see there are still open minded people in these forums. |

Back on track here...
I had a really good time at SFD this year, defiently bigger and better than last year, except for the water line up!
Thanks to one.tjc, for the meetup. Sorry to pull you out of your prime position near the front man.. I appreciate it :)
Armin was by far the set of the day. Every other DJ just seemed to be mashing together tracks with no real structure, Armins was so nice and smooth, so good it converted my "club / funky house" girlfriend to trance! LOL. Never thought that would happen, but in her own words "If this whole day was only Armin, it would have been perfect". Nice!
Sadly, the crowd was very typically "Queensland", with a majority of punters pushing to get to the front of the tent, "just to be near someone famous". Within 5 minutes of Armins set starting I got "Who is this again?" and "Is the Armin that did My My My?". FFS :whip: Then proceeded to jump around and up my little space, not like the Sydney crowds who have a bit of an idea and respect ;) (I'm a Queenslander btw, I just wish more of us could be "civilised"). haha!
Nice memories include, New Years Day, Fancy Fair 2004 (I thought I'd never hear Fancy Fair ever again, so glad for the 2004 remix woot!), some crazy remix of For an Angel, that drove the crowd NUTS and Need to be loved which drove me :eyespop:
Also one.tjc who messaged me to say "I bet he finishes off with Nirvana" which he did, nice call :)
I have a few photos which I'll put online, and a couple of short videos of the start of AvB's set, New Years Day, For an Angel and Fancy Fair if anyone wants them.
To dj_nomiz, mate, so glad you had a good time, I've seen you before at events "straight" as and you loving it, so I know you did what you did for the right reasons. Good on ya. You're a guy who obviously loves your music, with or without the "extra stuff", so if you're happy, so am I.
Can't wait for next year! |

as for inconsiderate crowd.. well not much you can do.. i managed to find a perfect spot for armins set - no people all over me :)
that for an angel remix was absolute bliss - he also pulled out the obligatory delerium silence in there somewhere [think i heard alt+f4 - alt+f4 too?]

in all - one of the best nights out i've had
