| What did you do on NYE? Here's how my night went: at 7PM, met up with some friends and the chick, then headed out to Niagara Falls. Arrived at 8:30 and went down to the river. Yea, all the way down! Found a giant rock right across from the American falls and chilled on it, drinking beer and smoking weed. What a fantastic view! I doubt many others have experienced something like this before, esp on NYE, when the snow would usually make it impossible to get to that spot. Anyway, then we went back up and hit up Screamers, the horror house. Entertaining, but not really worth the $15 for 10 minutes. Can't say i was actually scared, but it was kinda creepy. One of the "killers" walked up to me in the dark, snarled and said "where are you going, little boy?" I snarled back and replied with "dude, i'm bigger than you" :D Then we went back towards the falls and briefly stopped by the rock concert. Pretty cool, but too crowded to get a good view. Unsuccessfully tried to bribe ths security to let us into VIP. Dammit, and they were Russian too! You've betrayed me, comrades! Then it was time for the fireworks. Holy , what a show! Really awesome; i only saw fireworks once in the last year, so it was memorable. At this point me and the chick separated from my friends and headed back to Viva. Made a stop to gorge on pizza on the way. Holy , i can't believe how much we ate! Viva kicked ing ass. Smaller than i expected, but the sound and interior was great. Lots of seating, and even though everyone wanted a spot, we still managed to find one whenever we needed it. The crowd was pretty cool; i remember people complaining before but i dunno what the deal with that was. Some people were a little weird because they spoke little english and were stoned, but the crowd overall was friendly. Made some instant buddies with random Asian guys and got offered some free K, but passed. Yea, and Talla kicked ing ass of course! Can't say enough good things about that guy. Wicked, wicked set! Back home at 7:00 for a surprisingly energetic (after all that driving and dancing anyway) sex session, and finally, sleeeppp. Yea, so that was fun. Completely unique, unforgettable NYE! ^^ Most of the time when you make buddies with the asians you get offered at least one of two things: K or napkins. :)
We had dinner at a Korean bbq. Then headed over to loconet's place to chill for a while but made a detour to John's house to pick up my Systems ticket. Was supposed to get the ticket which he had left for me in the mailbox but as the new year dawned I was rummaging through someone else's mail. I was at wrong house... oops!! So then I get to the correct house, grab the ticket and head back to loconet's house. We had a few drinks there and then decide to go to Viva since it's close by. I had an awesome NYE. |
