| I don't run anymore, I cycle. I've been racing for a couple of years now. I put in about 150 miles a week during the season, not including races, but right now I'm indoors on a trainer building my aerobic/anaerobic base for the season. I can tell you one thing, you shouldn't do more than about 2 high intensity anaerobic routines a week. Your body needs time to recover in order to build endurance, and if you do that every day you're going to fatigue yourself in no time. You will also lose muscle that way too. If you're just starting out, I'd limit myself to 1 high intensity anaerobic workout a week. |

I joog each time I go to the gym and outsidew in the summer, it feel good and music does help a lot indeed... I usually run more faster and longer distances while listening to music, it keeps you away from your thinking about the pain and exhaustion
I do 30 min and do a sprint at the end to use up the rest of my energy, 1 hour and a half is a lot:eyes: |

i use to run every other day, a couple times a week. i'd say about 4kms each time. but now that the weather is chilly, i haven't gone running in about a month or so. it sucks. i miss running. i don't have the motivation to go running in this chilly weather, especially with all the slush and ice everywhere.
so now i considering joining a gym. pros and cons for joining. i can't decide what to do. i've been putting it off for a while now. |

i always seem to be able to run a little longer when it's cold out...i love it...
