Hiya !

This is my 1st post here but i do hope to post more :)

I was directed here but someone on the Godskitchen board.

Basically, ive just finished my latest tune and would like some opinions please.

Its a full length trance tune but is trance with a difference and is certainly not airy fairy. It was made by myself and a producer called Paul Mac (not the techno jock).
He is an experienced producer and co produced all of Human Movements tracks along side the awesome Marc Mitchel.

Hope you enjoy it !

All feed back welcome.

please use the addy below to dl the track.

I compressed it using ITUNES, it'll play in that and also in
Winamp.

Appologies for the format. It was already generously hosted by
someone before I realised. Most people have supportive players
these days so I thought id ride my luck.

Ahhh there we go working now hehe.:happy2:

I am liking this tune, cool, groovy driving tune. Maybe my main comment here for now is the structure at the start for dj friendliness: It would be cool if from the point the kick starts which i believe is 16 bars here, you would maybe not put out the main bassline from that point but to have it come in more gradually or at least a light bassline till you reach the 48 bar (actually 32 bars after the kick starts), and right at about 47-47.5 bars put a kick break (no kick)and than right at 48 bars introduce the kick and full bassline again: this is a pretty typical structure for dj friendliness, and permits cleaner bassline transitions from one tune to the next in a mix. Hope that all makes sense. Anyways I am sending you a PM ;)

Now THAT is a quality tune! A+! Send a promo of that to sasha & diggers!

but make it dj friendly first :) These kinds of tracks most people like to be able to make LONG mixes into/out of... so start and end with at least 32 bars of kick+whatever if possible :)

edit: blast! that guy above got to it first :P

Cool !

Thanks very much for taking the time to listen and leave some comments :)

It does need to start with a beat now I think. Ive tried mixing it in myself and it just doesnt sit right so we'll fix that up in no time.

It also needs some very subtle volume work done to help similar frequencys sit a bit more comfortably together I think.

Many thanks :)

I like this alot, agreed about submitting to labels.

the kick drum an hi hats seem to sit together quite well for me.
Bass compliments them nicely too.
