how come someone hasnt started a review thread yet?
oh well ill type my review anyway.
got into aria around 11:50, just in time for the countdown and some sweet house beats were being laid down by a HOT chick DJ (i think its maus), the DnB song she closed her set with was a bit unexpected though.
Lafleche - great beats, built the vibe up soo well, i liked most of his set.
Infected Mushroom - well these guys always seem to put on a good show each time i see them, great on stage presence and know how to work the crowd. the only dissapointment was when they got repetetive towards the end of their set.
Preach vs Marco G - :crazy: :eyespop: :eyes: my poor poor legs, oh man i dont think im gonna walk right for a while, crazy techno. i dont think i need to say any more.

Ohhh man, it's so hard to describe how good this night was. After getting the final ticket for a friend like 10 mins before Aria opened it's doors, we were finally set.
Maus and Lafleche both started the night off well, I hope everyone was on the dance floor for the countdown, that was pertty sick. :eek:
IM, well what can I say, I've never seen them live, and I haven't really listened to Psy-Trance much, but they got me infected that night, it was INCREDIBLE to say the least.
I remember one point really well for some reason, they did a massive build up, then right before the beat droped, most of the lights went out and when it finally droped, the lights went back on and i swear to god I saw everyone on the dance floor pertty much jump at the same time.
The Tag-Team, omg, I thought IM was gonna be the highlight of the night, but it ended up being the MACHINE that destroyed me! This had to be one of the godliest sets ever. Just when you think it couldn't get any better then this, it actually did, they killed me on the dance floor! And they were so into it too, it looked like they were having as much fun as the whole crowd was!
The vibe the whole night through was amazing, never gonna forget this NYE thats for sure! :D :eyes: |
