What's a good program to record livesteams from the internet?

| There is a big stream over the internet on some radiostation coming up from Gatecrasher wit hOakenfold, Jules, etc. I would like to record it. Is there any programs that record livestreams from the internet? |

yes, theres a program called total recorder...u will need quite alot of harddrive space tho...

| u can also try streamripper, which is a plugin for winamp. do a search for it at www.download.com. |

hardrive space isn't bad @ all w/ total recorder. You can record the stream straight to mp3, unlike soundforge and cool edit where you must record to wav(tons of space) then convert to mp3. Total recorder all the way!!! |

hmmm...r u sure u can record directly into mp3 w/ total recorder...i did read that sumtime back, but i could never get it to work...i'll try again...i've already got the encoders....

If you're not register then go to that link...it's all you'll need to know about this. And I've tested it...works like a charm.
You can even dl the program and the mp3 encoders there;) |

heh yeah im also registered at rmf with the same name...they're got a kickass humor section...but i hardly post there so i dont have access to their DoD section..sux...thanks for the link tho..
