mainly its because every guy i know has rallied the out of their cars and red liend and raced and drifted and have fun with the cars till the die.
Women are always worried about the longevity of it. Cars were meant to be driven, and to render it down to something as pedestrian as a mode of transport instead of a container of fun...im pretty sure the guys who engineer all this stuff want people to love the car and have fun with it, not go the speed limit and never rev the engine.
Im making a generalization here, im sure there are women out there who drive harder, but in my driving career ive had *1* girl race me...i mean when im on my motorcycle guys in Hondas come up and rev because they wanna see me take off.
Women just dont seem to appreciate the true value of the vehicle being in its speed and power. MPG, saftey features, a jedi cares not for these things.
and yes, im sexist, and so is that statement. |

sadly.. as sexist as the statement may be... its true for the most part. of course there are excpetions - hence why i got offended :)... but there are certain excptions to guys and not driving their cars as they should be driven as well..thats why generalizations suck. oh well :) maybe one day more girls will switch on to the evil but oh so yummy side of the road. |

| haha my friend had one of those. Awesome road trip cars. You can drive em into the ground too and the ground 200,000 miles away. Great cars. |

yeah mine had over 220K on it.. not miles
i loved it to death but it was time to part with it.
gonna move up to a newer celica (would love the alltrac version), or maybe even a supra.
either all wheel drive or RWD.. done with fwd now,. |

1969 Dodge Charger R/T 426 Hemi, 4-spd tranny, Dana 60 rear end, 4.11 gears *schwing*
oh yeah about 8-12 mpg and definitely responsible for my own little piece of that hole in the ozone layer, and damn proud of it.

yeah FWD sucks. I crashed mine ;P
had a 65 stang all dragged out, but in the end my new dream car is a WRX wagon. Can carry everything in those things, bikes, tons of people, etc... and AWD is the only thing for cornering.
I have a 66 land rover and my bro 2004 WRX and they are just more fun.
new celicas are cool though

yeah for sure... im totally an import girl but i do respect the job done right on a domestic when i see one.
the only 2 wagons i ever liked .. were the vw jetta wagons and the wrx wagons. they both have their pluses in my books... |

| damn so many of you are forgetting the keys to buying a car. Fuel efficient, give me a hybrid that gets close to 50 mpg or up. 4 doors is a very important feature helps lower those insurance costs and makes it easier for everyone to get into the car. Airbags are also very important feature along with ABS that will keep those insurance rates down ya know. Probbaly get 4 wheel drive for those snowy winters. Maybe a plow on the front optional of course! ummm got a nice heating and cooling system. Nice power for towing all those boats and what not that I own. oh i mean yachts. because by saving money on my car insurance and knowing my family is safe, I will buy many yachts and take them everywhere plowing the path there. Probably get some chainsaws to come out the sides to chop down trees and maybe civilians in the path and inside alcohol will flow like cold rain on a stormy night along with women. wait a second lemme get back to my car. So anyway a good color that doesnt get too dirty or absorb too much heat i guess. ummm seats all comfy prolly some tilted windows. ya know. And keep it cheap of course. maybe under 18k. Thats my car for ya, u guys need to stop worrying about chicks they like the family oriented kinda guys! |
