I disagree, all public places should have a designated smoking area. I can't wait until the UK follows suit which is scheduled to be in place around 2006, although I think it is already passed in scotland.
Let smokers smoke in those glass smoking rooms where you can't see 5 metres in front of you and pollute those who wish to smoke.
In fact I wouldn't be against a total ban on smoking! :)

This one is weird:
- "It is a crime to do anything against the law" |
Some of these probably seemed reasonable at the time they were passed. Do you have any for the UK, in particular anything specific for Wales? |

All English males over the age 14 are to carry out 2 or so hours of longbow practice a week supervised by the local clergy.
cool
Any person found breaking a boiled egg at the sharp end will be sentenced to 24 hours in the village stocks (enacted by Edward VI).
A license is required to keep a lunatic.
It is legal for a male to urinate in public, as long it is on the rear wheel of his motor vehicle and his right hand is on the vehicle.

You can only shoot a Welsh person with a bow and arrow inside the city walls and after midnight.
You may not shoot a Welsh person on Sunday with a longbow in the Cathedral Close.
Excluding Sundays, it is perfectly legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow. :haha: fecking scots |

Yeh I think these sound fair considering we (The Welsh and Scots) are ill-mannered and barbaric lunatics who need shooting (with a longbow that is). I wonder if these laws are still active or whether they have yet been retracted, and is it ok for a Welshman to shoot a Scotsman or vice versa? |
