"Politics of Dancing 2 is due in March, and my next artiste album can be expected by the end of 2005,”
Your last album, Reflections , was kind of a departure for you, a bit more pop-oriented. What's your next project like?
"I'm working on Politics of Dancing 2. This is a mix CD concept that features special remixes and is of course very club-oriented. Besides, I'm writing the soundtrack for a presentation movie from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs about Germany."
Has President Bush's actions affected your opinion of America in any way?
"Not so much his actions, because he's just the muppet for people like Dick Cheney and Colin Powell -- but I was really surprised at how the election was stolen away. We here in Germany, responsible for two World Wars, learned a lot from the Allies and developed a very healthy system -- and now this chaos of supposedly a democratic election. But I wouldn't say it changed my view of America because I judge a country by the people I know there, and some of my best friends live in America."
The DJ industry has changed drastically since today's huge names first started spinning. What are your favorite and least favorite aspects of being a world-renowned DJ/producer?
"Just listen to the lyrics of Depeche Mode's ``Walking in My Shoes.''"
