Anybody go???
It was a good night music wise but it was totally rammed full, too full IMO, it got to the stage where you couldn't even move on the main floor. As well as this several tunes were played more than twice. AND, in the top ten voted for tunes count down set JFK played the ING VOCAL MIX of Rank 1 - Airwave...................
However some of the tunes heard were:
Lost Tribe - gamemaster incl the Signum rmx
Nalin & Kane - Beachball (vocal mix)
Lustral - Everytime (Nalin & Kane remix)
Agnelli & nelson - el nino
Agnelli & nelson - everyday
After burn - Fratt boy
William orbit - barbers adagio for strings <----- A mix of this I had never heard before
Westbam - wizards of the sonic 99 (Matt darey remix)
The generator - where are you now (moonman remix)
members of mayday - 10 in one
Faithless - Insomnia
Bedrock - set in stone
Sasha & maria - be as one
Schiller - ruhe (Humate remix)
Ayla - ayla

In my opinion there were a lot of tunes missing from the night, which could have been played instead of the tunes that were repeated.
I rate the night a 7/10 |

Flaming June = '97
Set In Stone = '97
etc. etc. Plus I doubt that that's all they played. Whether that qualifies them for "classics" is of course debatable.. |

A friend of mine went this and said they didn't even play Gouryella! Thought this would be there seeming as its a classics night.
And if anyones wondering For An Angel came first out of the 100 you could vote for. |

i didn't go but from the majority of people giving me feedback i surmised that it was an *alright* trance night but nothing like proper Gatecrasher of old. the £30 price tag for tickets on the door was also ridiculous.
I'm glad i didn't go... and further ruin my memories of GC.

it does my head in when i hear people say this
'its not as good as it used to be' :haha:
people say this about every night whats the point in comparing it to the past take the night for what it is and enjoy the music i did that and had a brilliant time. |

because when the night isn't even on the same scale of enjoyment as how it used to be you feel ripped off.
for years a shop sells you an absolutely amazing bananas... they're the best bananas in the world... every other banana you've tried is rubbish compared to this banana. The suddenly one day you've heard the banana company isn't interested in selling bananas anymore... they'd now prefer to sell oranges. Low and behold the quality of bananas decreases rapidly .. they don't taste as nice, some of thema re even rotton.... these bananas are no better than the other mediocre brands of banana... they're still bananas but you sure as hell wish they'd never started selling oranges.
they'res a lot of people that can't understand why people make such a fuss about this... i feel this, more often or not, is because they never really got into GC in the same way that other people did. I *lived* for GC for 2 years.. naturally, i now feel betrayed |

| I went because it was my birthday and a cab ride away in the morning from lots of house parties. I had good fun but only because I had a good bunch of people with me and got mashed. It wasn't the greatest night but hey ho |
