Top 5 choices will be added to a poll, the winner (of poll) will get the 2HP.ca Radio Top TOTA DJ of 2004 award which includes:
- $100 gift certificate for a record store (of my choice: Release, Chemical, Juno or 4DJsOnly)
- 2 special event broadcasts on 2HP.ca Radio prior to February 2005 (both scheduled and promoted events, possibly simulcast onto other net-radio stations)
- Option for a weekly, monthly, quarterly residency opportunity on 2HP.ca Radio (and syndication partners) if DJ interested
- Long term mention on 2HP.ca Radio's website (http://www.2hp.ca)
To qualify:
- TOTA-DJ must be registered to TA prior to November 1 2004
- TOTA-DJ must NOT have a quarterly (or more frequent [4 times per year]) residence at a TO nightclub
- TOTA-DJ must have played live in a regional nightclub, played at a recognized house-party or had a semi-regular radio appearance in 2004
Nominations to be posted in this thread. Nominations must include DJ name, relative date and venue (club, house, radio station) to be valid for contest. Contest closes January 15 2005. Each person allowed 2 nominations. Nominations will be tallied and top 5 will be posted in a poll (1 vote per person) on January 17 2005.
Above rules may change as I see fit. My vote does not count. |

Gamma and Kevin Harcourt's debuts at System on Nov. 26th overcame my expectations 100 fold. So I nominate those two. |
