So...let's hear how you like to end your DJ-sets! I bet more people than I like it when there's a little twist or something special in the end of a set :)
I haven't found a favorite fun way to do it myself yet i guess..
(sry if a thread like this already exists. Didn't find any tho..) |

| Sometimes I powerdown my TT. Sometimes I try to find a track with fine outro. |

| Just depends on the crowd or how I'm feeling, sometimes just powerdown, or stop the track right after a breakdown or after a huge climax (makes the crowd go bonkers), best thing I like to do is finish with some effects and build up the end myself and finish with it echoing away. |

| If my last track is on my CDJ, I can pitch it down to 100%. So I usually use the filter, and just start filtering the song out, and pitching it all the way down. |

| i like to play a stupid tune, although i wouldn't do that in a club (unless i was sure it would go down well). i like ing things up with effects at the end, creating noise, maybe adding the odd moo of a cow, or a chicken noise here and there. |

| Slow the tune down to -50 and start ing with the effects. |

If I play at one of my residencies then I will usually play the last song out and then if the punters want more I will sometimes stick on Dogzilla - Dogzilla if they shout loud enough.
If I'm a guest I usually don't get to close so it's not my call.

PS
I saw that someone finished with Expander. Very nice track but probably a little slow unless ofcourse you play proggy. |

I play my last tune, but as its playing I secretly put DJ Sammy - Heaven on the other deck. When my last song finishes I reach up from behind the booth and turn it on! Other DJ is like...

no your unemployed ey? ;) (no I'm not stupid, I just like to act so hehe)
I sometimes edit a good pumpin' track and give it a different end. (add a vocal or an atmosphere...)
The problem is that sometimes I get caught, because it is illegal to edit tracks without paying for the copyright. But at parties of friends its no problem! |

I don't think it's illegal if it's for your own use only. |

thats right, but law in Holland became a little more tight and if you play in a club you must keep a tracklist and have the originals :( |
