It's quite ironic how this thread, created to warn against the dangers of flamers, has itself turned into a flaming match.
The way I see it, the problem isn't the half-wits who come on here and post a few swear-words. They're annoying, yes, but harmless. It's those of us - regardless of how long we have been here for - who don't understand the concept of civilised discussions and take everything they disagree with as a personal slight, which they in turn use as an excuse to flame those who differ in opinion. Some of you need to seriously re-evaluate why you're here. If you're just here to stir, then just go into Yahoo Chat and flame away. There's plenty of people to piss off in there. But if you genuinely want to take part in discussions on this site, then you may want to deflate your egos a bit and understand what needs to be done if this forum is to be enjoyable for us all.
Flaming solves nothing. Adding the phrase "you " to the end of a sentence won't change the fact that some people are - for their own reasons, right or wrong - going to disagree with you. If this notion scares you then you're in the wrong place. So long as this sort of starts happenning whenever you disagree in the slightest with anything that anyone says, this forum can only get worse.
By the way, this post isn't aimed at any individuals in particular, just at the group as a bunch, based on what I observe dozens of people doing time and time again. Just pack up your egos whenever you type in that tranceaddict url in your address bar and learn some respect: other people's opinions, regardless of how violently you disagree with them, are just as valid as yours.
Now, that being said, can we all just get along? |

Paul U started w/me from DAY 1 & u start w/EVERYONE! When I said I don't want to fight w/children I meant ppl who respond to my opinions with "ur wrong or a stupid bitch" b/c I don't agree w/them or b/c I didn't have the BEST night of my life at Oakie. If we all agreed there would be no point in a forum. U all can think what u want... the TA's that have met me don't share the same opinion. |

Firstly bollocks. I can give you a list of names you been in fights with and I'll rephrase myself. If somebody says that you are wrong you revert to insults, you do it all the ing time and you don't have any explantation for it so don't go about making yourself sound all innocent again.

This thread is by far and away one of the most humorous threads i've seen in awhile...... a thread started asking Swamper in an attempt to end bickering, turns into one of the biggest flame wars, right in front of Swamper... hehehe....
